Sustainability Plan

A self-sustaining energy city
achieving carbon neutrality

With the goal of achieving a 60% local energy self-sufficiency rate by 2035 and reaching 100% by 2050, we are adopting diverse renewable energy sources and a local energy management system to build a sustainable city with Korea’s first district-level eco-friendly certification.

Self-Sustaining Energy City

  • Mid- to Long-Term Implementation Strategy for a Self-Sustaining Energy City

    2035

    Achieve 60% energy independence

    * Target: ZEB Level 3

    2050

    Achieve 100% energy independence

    * Target: ZEB Level 1
    Aligned with Seoul’s 2050 Zero Energy Building (ZEB) Initiative

    * Based on the 2nd Seoul Green Building Development Plan (2022)
